Lo-fi Studio is a concept studio born with the goal of creating a space to embrace the beauty of your hair.
In the wine industry the term “Lo-fi” is known to mean low intervention, allowing the wine to develop naturally with minimal adjustments from the winemaker. The results, beautiful drinkable wine for any occasion and is arguably healthier for us since there is no synthetic additives or pesticides used during the production the wine.
Our approach to hair is founded on a similar goal, keeping your hair in its healthiness and most beautiful state with minimal manipulation. We specialize in creating low maintenance color, haircuts embracing your natural texture and curating hair products with clean ingredients.

I specialize in Haircuts and Low maintenance dimensional brunettes.
I believe a great haircut is not too different from a beautiful sculpture. To understand how your hair wants to move and where it wants to live I cut hair dry in its natural state. I color hair with the goal of embracing the tones within your natural color to create a low maintenance, lived in and dimensional feel.
I love creating effortless looks that can come together when air dried or diffused with some product scrunched in or tied up with some tendrils falling out and framing your face. I want you to feel confident in wearing your hair natural as you do when it is styled.

Color has changed immensely the past decade and can include more steps than a traditional “partial“or “full” to achieving a goal.
Custom colors are scheduled and priced by the hour and are all inclusive. These services start at $100/hour.

Sky
Hi, Im Sky and I graduated from Aveda Institute, Los Angeles.
It all started when i played volleyball and realized how much i loved french or dutch braiding my teammates hair before every game. This lead me to find a love for makeup as well. When i was a Junior in high school I would go to my grandma salon that she worked in and do makeup on her and coworkers for fun. I continued to assist/work front desk in the salon until i graduated high school and my love for the beauty industry continued to grow.
I was so excited to finally get to go to cosmology school and learn more about the art of hair. I was one of the most eggar and excited to learn out of all of my classmates. Even now i constantly strive to grow and improve my skills, learning new techniques and keeping up with the trends.
The things i enjoy doing the most are lived in color or balayage, lived in haircuts or easy wash and go haircuts and fine hair
